Dan Miller, Executive Director
Dan is the co-owner of Travel’n Light Films. Dan recently co-produced/directed/wrote Pathways to Children, a video for the Children’s Home Society and Family Services, and The SKB Story, a fundraising video for an orphanage in India. Currently, Dan is working on Mike’s Movie, a story about a teenage boy with Leukemia and What’s the Point?, a documentary that examines the effectiveness of public education.
Wade Barry, Executive Producer
Wade, co-owner of Travel’n Light Films, has eighteen years experience in the media industry, with skills as director, producer, writer, and videographer. He has produced segments for PBS, HGTV, TLC and the Travel Channel. He also served as writer and director for Oh, Christmas Tree, a PBS documentary. Recently he co-produced/directed/wrote Pathways to Children, a Children’s Home Society and Family Services’ promotional video and co-wrote the feature screenplay Mo Mushi ( which you can learn more about at www.momushi.com ). Currently, Wade is working on Mike’s Movie, a story about a teenage boy with Leukemia and What’s the Point?, a documentary that examines the effectiveness of public education.

Ryan Wheeler, Editor
Ryan works as an Editor / Motion Graphic Designer at Pixel Farm with previous editing experience at Field to Frame Media and Hi-Wire—all in Minneapolis. He began his broadcasting career with KDLT-TV, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. His corporate clients include Best Buy and Northwest Airline. His documentary films include 30th Anniversary of a Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor and Pathways to Children for the Children’s Home Society.
Derek Englund, Sound Editor
Derek has extensive experience as an audio engineer in the music, radio, television and film industries. He served as an assistant engineer for ESPN as well as for numerous television shows, including Winnie the Pooh, Willy Wonka, and Rocky and Bullwinkle. His music credits include engineering work on recordings by Motley Crue, Rick Springfield and John Schneider. Corporate clients include Science Museum of Minnesota, Best Buy and Target.
Jason Gerling, Musical Composer
Since starting Jammin’ Grooves in October, 2002, Jason has composed many pieces for projects/clients including Carlson Companies, AIGA, FUSE-TV, San Francisco Short Film Festival, Mazda, Coca-Cola and Target. He specializes in creating music and sound effect arrangements used in media projects for commercial TV, video, CD-ROM, DVD, internet, and trade shows.
